About the content of the geometry files:

The 3D vocal tract geometries of the vowels are sliced in 129 segments. The geometrical parameters of the segments are given in four lines for each segment in the text files. The first line contains the centerline point coordinates and the second line the centerline normal coordinates. The contours are described as an upper and a lower profile. These profiles are obtained by sampling the upper
and the lower parts of the contour in the segment plane at 96 regularly spaced horizontal positions. The horizontal spacing between the sampling points is dx = 5.5cm/95 = 0.0579 cm. The third line contains the 96 vertical distances between the upper profile and the centerline at each sampled point and, likewise, the fourth line contains the 96 vertical distances between the lower profile and the centerline. The value 1e+06 indicates that a sample position is outside of the contour, and hence, that no upper and lower profile exist at this horizontal position.
